About us
The GIFTED, considered a minority in any country, is a rich source of human resources whose potential in different areas of endeavors, the Philippines is in dire need of. If identified and properly nurtured cognitively, academically, emotionally and ethically, they can help in turning around many of the ills which we are now experiencing.

While the Department of Education has programs that attempt to address the needs of the "fast learners;
it needs assistance in identifying this population and in nurturing them.
The Philippine Center for Gifted Education is a private non-stock, nonprofit organization committed to actively search for Filipino gifted children and individuals and to provide ways of nurturing them.
More specifically, it is envisioned to reach the disadvantaged sector who oftentimes misses the opportunity to be identified more so nurtured for their abilities. It is expected to be able to harness the private sector in an organized way of providing for this population.
